Meet Your Instructor

Brian Larson

Brian has a 38-year track record in the technology industry and 33 years of experience creating custom database applications and data analytics solutions. As a consultant to Microsoft, Brian served as a member of the original SQL Server Reporting Services development team contributing to the original codebase of that product.

Brian is a nationally recognized speaker having presented over 70 sessions at national and regional conferences including the PASS Summit, SQL Server Connections, the Microsoft BI Conference, and various SQL Saturday events. Brian is a former columnist for SQL Server Magazine and a long-time author for McGraw-Hill Education. Brianโ€™s publications include Data Analysis with Microsoft Power BI and Delivering Business Intelligence with Microsoft SQL Server 2016.
